BPEA Ministry Updates

October 15, 2014

I am pleased to introduce the two newest members of our team.  Steven and Becky Carleton are coming on board to oversee our new program, THE ARCTIC HOPE PROGRAM.  This is the Healing & Equipping school that we have envisioned for the Arctic for a long time, and it is so exciting to see it finally becoming reality.  We had initially planned to get it underway when the building in Repulse Bay is completed, but since the construction is going more slowly than expected, we have made the prayerful decision to proceed, using alternative facilities.  Too many lives have been cut short due to suicide, addictions and despair.  We cannot wait any longer!

Steven is Inuit, and has extensive experience with operating Inuit-focused programs for youth.  He and Becky will be responsible for coordinating the specialized ministries to help promising young Inuit men and women in dealing with the pain of their past, and to equip them, both spiritually and practically, and they in turn will lead their generation toward wholeness and productivity. The Carletons will also participate in the ministry to the youth, as they serve as mentors and shining examples of what they are capable of through the help and anointing of the Spirit.

We are counting on your partnership as we take this major step of faith.  Many young Inuit lives are hanging in the balance.  God bless you richly as you pray and support this exciting project!
