BPEA Ministry Updates

Peterborough, ON

It was wonderful to be back at Selwyn Outreach Centre in Peterborough ON. This church has partnered with us for many years and have sown generously into many mission projects we have undertaken in Arctic Russia and Arctic Canada.

Steven Carleton joined me for these Sunday services, and as we shared, God moved powerfully and touched many lives.

In the morning service I called the Church in Canada to return the pattern set in the Book of Acts, when believers were filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and became carriers of His fire. It is only as we demonstrate the Christ-life and church leaders make room for people to encounter Holy Spirit in corporate worship services that lives will be transformed, and they in turn will impact the culture around them.

During both services Steven did the traditional Inuit drum dance as an act of worship.  He recognizes that the drum can be an instrument of worship like any other instrument, and it is also a powerful way to honour the Inuit culture.

Many partners and ministry friends drove long distances to attend and hear Steven as he shared the vision of the Arctic Hope Project and the word laid on my heart about Hope.  As I laid hands on each individual at the conclusion of the meeting, the Lord touched and healed many lives.  God bless you, Pastor Brian Mahood, for allowing us to minister to the Body of Christ at Selwyn Outreach Centre!
