Ministry to the Canadian North
Project #1 – Repulse Bay Church Completion:
God has been moving powerfully in Repulse Bay, NU, and the little congregation
has outgrown its old church building. The local congregation and other Inuit
churches sacrificed substantially to purchase all the materials and pay for shipping
to build the foundation and outer shell for a new church. In order to complete it,
they need additional funds to install electricity, heat, flooring, plumbing and the
inside structure. With as much volunteer labour as possible for these areas, they
will endeavour to keep the cost of completing the building at a minimum. These
are wonderful, dedicated people of God who need to know that we in the “south”
are standing with them to see this new church become reality!
Estimated Cost: $100,000.00 - DONATE TODAY to be a part of building this important church!
Project #2 – Nain, Labrador
For many years we have poured substantial mission finances and practical aid into
the most northerly Inuit community in Labrador. Many residents struggle with
alcoholism, abuse, suicides and poverty, and as missionaries Ray & Juanita
Whalen, whom we support each month, lavish them with love, counsel them
and provide food, clothing and other help, many of their lives have been turned
around. One young mother testified that since giving her life to Jesus five years
ago, she has been transformed, and has been powerfully delivered from the
horrific effects of alcoholism unspeakable abuse since childhood.
Your generosity will ensure that the spiritual progress made in Nain continues!
DONATE TODAY to support the missionaries bringing the Kingdom of God to Nain!
